Celebrity number two

I met Tippu, the Tamil movie playback singer. He had come to our office to do some recording for one of our shortfilms, and shaked hands with me. I guess he was a little curious about my name. But too bad, no photographs this time either 
“shaked hands with me”?
The word is “shook”, man, not “shaked”.
There is a word called ’shakedown’, but that’s an entirely whole ‘nother topic. If you haven’t listened to a Grateful Dead album called ‘Shakedown Street’ I urge you to go find it ASAP - it would certainly make my top 10 ‘Desert Island Discs’.
